DESCRIPTION:Kick off your 4th of July Holiday here in St. Germain at the Northwoods best Independence Celebration!\n\n\n\nFreedom 5K Fun Run - 15th Annual Freedom 5K Fun Run - 8:30 am & 1K Kids Run at 9:30 in the Community Park. Awards immediately following the run at the North Pavilion.\n\n \n\nCraft & Vendor Fair - Craft & Vendor Fair 9am-3pm on corner of Hwy 70 & 155- proceeds benefit local youth groups - WRJO live remote with Mike Wolf\, spin the prize wheel and win some fun patriotic prizes. Face Painting for the kids. Food served by the Lions Club in the South Pavilion.\n\n \n\nMusic\, Raffles & Food by the St. Germain Lions Club - Begins at 11:00 in the North Pavilion at the Community Park. FREE inflatable rides for the kids from noon- 8pm. Music by Bret & Frisk 11:30-2:30. The Lions Unique Raffle drawing takes place at 8pm.\n\n \n\nParade - Downtown starts at 3pm - Parade Theme is "A Family Fun Celebration" - Route begins at Pub 'n Prime and ends at the Fire Station. Featuring a Vintage War Plane Flyover (sponsored by the Community UCC Thrift Shop) and the Spirit II Helicopter (both fly-overs take place weather permitting). Color Guard Flag Presentation by the American Legion Riders and the American Legion Post 318 marching unit from Lake Tomahawk. This year the Northland Pines Marching Band will also be featured. Parade Marshals this year are Ken & Ellyn Dahnke who have served this community in so many ways\, volunteering their time and efforts for many of our local service organizations.\n\n\n\n#28 Donna Davidson\, ISR World Series Class Champion & High Points Award Recipient\, will be featuring her race sled in the parade and doing autographs and will be letting kids take their picture on the sled after the parade in the park.\n\n \n\n\n\nFire Department Water Fights - St. Germain Volunteer Fire Dept hosts the water fights with participants from other area departments beginning at 4:30 in the ball diamond at the North Pavilion.\n\n \n\nFireworks - sponsored by the Town of St. Germain. Folks gather around the North Pavilion to see the amazing fireworks display at dusk.
