If you are looking for a break from the chaos of life, look no further than a stay at Birchwood Retreat. This two bedroom, two bath lake home offers peace and tranquility as it overlooks scenic Finley Lake. Conveniently located only a few miles out of St. Germain, you’ll find a trip in to the Monday morning flea market or a run for bakery and bait, takes only minutes!
Finley Lake has no public access so while the lake offers all the fun of the bigger lakes, you won’t experience overcrowding! It’s the perfect setting for our 18' 50 hp Palm Beach pontoon boat! Whether it’s taking in the beauty of the natural scenery or sipping cocktails on a sunset cruise, a pontoon boat allows everyone to be together and enjoy the water in comfort. There’s also good fishing right from the dock, or take our row boat out and discover a secret honey hole! If you wish to rent the motor, we keep it mounted on the boat at all times, so just let us know you’re interested and we’ll have it gassed up and ready for you on arrival. If lounging in the sun is more your speed, check out our brand new swim raft complete with ladder for easy access!
Guests have access to the two car garage, useful for storing the vacation extras! There’s an in ground fire pit and picnic table just off the front of the deck you see pictured above, and also a good amount of grass for yard games. We even have a horseshoe pit for a little late afternoon competition!
This home is open year round, and the view in winter, while obviously different than the lushness of summer, is equally spectacular!
