ArtStart: Sip of Culture Mosaic Tile Class March 7, 2019; 2:00 – 8:00 pm ArtStart, 68 S Stevens St, Rhinelander Join Johanne Benoit, Haitian-American Artist, on a gallery tour of the exhibition: The Art of Haiti, and get inspired to create a 6"x 6" mosaic tile art piece. This unique art class fundraiser will include unique sounds of Haiti and authentic Haitian flavors for you to sample while you create! Details: Choose one of our Haitian Culture templates or create a design. All supplies are provided but feel free to bring special tiles, jewels, buttons, etc. if you wish. Local Mosaic Artist Steve Schreier will give an overview of techniques and practices and will be available to answer questions during the event. Feel free to pop in and out of the event as you please but plan 3 hours to create your design. One sample food plate and one Haitian rum drink included. Sample plates will be served at 5:30 p.m. Cash bar available. Space is limited. $45 per person. Tickets on-sale at artstartrhinelander.org
